File synchronization using rsync examples

The man page lacks in explaining the fields of the -i flag. With this page I could find a solution to my goal: rsync -hari ./ /tmp/goal

- h ... human readable filesizes

- a ... preserve timestamps (this fixes the diff list when doing a sync twice)

- r ... recursively down all paths

- i ... display diff list of which files are transfered

Deployment should work fine too with this set of params (and by using -e) and you can validate the file list with changes and which will be transferred.

Ab dem ersten April 2012 wird in Österreich von jedem Telefonat, jeder E-Mail und jedes mal wenn sich jemand mit dem Internet verbindet, sogenannte "Verbindungsdaten" 6 Monate lang gespeichert. Aus diesen Daten erkennt man, wer wen kennt und bei Gesprächen mit Mobiltelefonen, wer wann wo war. Argumentiert wurde in Österreich vor allem, dass uns die EU mit einer Richtlinie dazu zwingt die Vorratsdatenspeicherung umzusetzen. Das ist eine faule Ausrede, denn auch Österreich hat in der EU ein Mitbestimmungsrecht! Die österreichische Regierung hat es versäumt...
